As an experienced Counsellor I aim to provide a safe environment where the client will feel accepted and understood.

I have experience of working with clients from a wide range of backgrounds and issues.  As a Person-Centred Counsellor I trust that the client is the expert of their own world and hold the key to resolving the issues they often struggle to come to terms with.  In trusting the process I am able to be alongside the client supporting and enabling them to safely explore their issues. I look on each client as a unique individual with whom I have the privilege to journey for a time.

The counsellor/client relationship in therapy is unique; it is supportive; non-judgemental; and empathic.  In offering these qualities in the therapy session, the client is able to talk about difficult issues which trouble them and enable them to explore their lives in the safe environment of the counselling room.

I charge £30 for a one hour therapy session which may sound expensive, but I keep this low as I believe that counselling and psychotherapy should be as accessible as possible.

Counselling is confidential in lines with the BACP’s Ethical Framework.  I am a member of BACP and abide by their ethical framework.
