The counselling relationship can offer the space to talk, explore situations and feelings without feeling judged.  In my counselling practice I provide a safe and supportive environment.  This can enable the client to come to a better understanding of their experiences.  It builds their confidence, enabling them to cope better with their situation in a more informed way and enhance their confidence.
